I would definitely not be having any valuable (monetary or sentimental) jewellery remodelled. I heard first hand from another forumite of her negative experience with Ms Pak in relation to original stones being replaced with stones of much lower quality & value. After hearing what happened I decided against taking my jewellery to Ms Pak.
I did go ahead & have some old & unfashionable 9ct gold jewellery melted down & remade into a ring (no stones) and 2 Pandora charms at a jeweller in Denpasar & I was very happy with the result. This being said, I would not have taken the risk with anything of real value, particularly a diamond engagement ring.
