Very good deal as the prices are about to go up. Renovations have been done around the pool, now have pool bar, the dining and bar area, new kitchen and servery for breakfast. Started renovations on the 2 up 2 down cottages around the pool area, only 3 or 4 have been completed, noise shouldn't be a problem though. Gardens at the entrance have been renewed. The 3 storey tower block seems to be closer to the pool area now although this is an optical illusion due to the renovations I believe, no way could the tower block be moved!
The menu is the same as the sister hotel Ida in Kuta behind Matahari. Breakfast is basic buffet of 1 Indonesian dish, fruit platter, tea & coffee, cereal and afew baked items. Then order your hot meal of eggs anyway you like, sausage, bacon and toast, usually fried tomatoes on the buffet section. Dewi Sri also has a special coffee area too at extra price.
The menu for lunch and dinner is good and reasonably priced usuallly have a special each lunchtime which includes tax and a drink. Also have entertainment around the pool area.
I haven't stayed there in 3 years but did visit to view the renovations in August and had lunch there, I'm sure for a budget hotel you will really enjoy it.
