Always look both ways before crossing a street, including one-way streets (there is often a motorbike coming the wrong way).
You can buy all the toiletries you need in the supermarkets, but some things like tampons and suntan lotion are quite dear, so you might want to bring travel packs of those from home.
Many hotels have scales for weighing bags (before you head home) at their reception desk - just ask, because they don't always advertise that fact.
Sometimes it is cheaper to hire a driver for a day or half-day and have your bags with you in their vehicle on your last day in Bali (while you do last minute shopping or sightseeing) than it is to pay a late fee to the hotel.
