2brms, rather one brm for you guys and sofa bed or similar in the living area for the kids.
We stayed in the Jayakarta one brm apartment(Ray's) this year and my boys are 3 and 5years old, they had bunk beds that the boys loved. We just closed ourselves in the brm when the boys went to sleep and watched tv or put them in our brm. Or left them all and went out to dinner with our lovely babysitter watching them. Plenty of room for us really.
It might just give you some more options rather than just 2brms in school holidays for under $150.
