Depending on which area some suggestions at the link below
--Probably more options under Legian & Seminyak
With children that young it may be better to get a 2 bedroom place in a bungalow/villa complex that does not have the pool inside as a plunge pool or a pool that is close to the living areas of the villa(which sometimes are open & cannot be closed off)
Some do have doors that can be closed off to the outside shared area/pool making the villa more private within a complex
Many places are also on 2 levels so there are stairs to contend with
3 bedrooms may also be an option depending on whether having the grandparents that close suits or not.
Many complexes that have 1 & 2 bedroom bungalows often don't have a restaurant but there are usually many restaurant options close by.
Bungalows or villas will also often have a basic kitchen set up.
Villa Pisang Mas in Legian (pretty basic bungalows with kitchen which may or may not be your cup of tea)does have nice grassed areas & some 2 bedrooms bungalows on one level
No restaurant.
Pondok Sara on the border of Legian/Seminyak also has 1 & 2 bedroom.
Also basic.
No restaurant & probably not as central to restaurants (need to walk further)
You can also get some reasonably priced villas (if available)
eg Villa Shantia in Jln Nakula - 3 bedroom & 150AUD per night in low season
Pondok Mawar also is - 3 houses on the property, all two storey and consisting of 2 bedrooms...shared pool
Just off Jln Double Six
