One bad manner doesn't request another

1. Bali is not Australia.
2. There was no smoking ban at the outdoor terrace of the restaurant.
3. There were several other people smoking there.
4. The family was seated several tables away from my table.
5. The family had finished their meal and looked as if about to leave soon.

I consider farting in public rude, to do it on purpose in the face of an elderly person is obnoxious, and dropping a load even worse be it planned or not.

Perhaps farting (and belching) in public is the way to go in the country you come from.

But to stop smoking is a very difficult task, even worse than stopping farting, as you may probably know.
