"Bartering" & "Bargaining" sadly seem to mean the same thing here these days. As you infer, bartering is the exchange of goods with no money changing hands (eg I'll braid your hair for your t-shirt). Bargaining involves the seller & buyer settling on a price in money for the item/s for sale (eg I'll braid your hair for Rp150K).
Haggling would take place in either transaction.
