I had booked for the AD Hotel for April next year, on the fact that many hotels are charging way over the top for bookings from April 1 next year. I got the hotel for a bargain as the site I used hadn't updated their new tariff.I went to the hotel this trip to check it out-the first thing I noticed was '24 hour bar'-this not being my style although I enjoy a drink(or many).I had thought of cancelling.I then went to meet friends staying at the cottages.Within 5 minutes of being there I went to reception and they readily agreed to change my booking from the hotel to the cottages. Good size large rooms, great bathrooms. They even gave me a confirmed room number-some rooms face a wall so avoid these.Great service by reception.Guests at the cottages can do a 5 minute walk to the hotel to take breakfast-a far more diverse breckie than at the cottages.In travelling to Bali for over 31 years and staying in various/numerous 2 stars and higher,I was very impressed by what I saw at the Cottages.
