Bali for Christmas?

Hello! Haven't been here in a while, I didn't finish my JBR from July, real life got in the way.

I had dinner with family tonight & they are going to Bali for Christmas. They asked me to go too!!!!!!!

They've got 2 hotels booked - don't ask. I'm looking at recommended hotels around $100 per night near Holiday Inn and Hard Rock. I have no idea if this sort of request is completely irrational or not, so please dont' abuse me! Last stay was Puri Raji, so that's the sort of expectation I have. Usually stay Legian way.

We are either me + 16yo daughter or me + daughter + 18yo son.
