it is not people complaining! Puri Damai make it VERY clear they want their establishment to be quiet and peaceful (the meaning of the name). They have signs everywhere including inside the apartments and around the pool stating that noise must be kept to a minimum, other guests ae to be respected and drunkness (and drugs) will not be tolerated and will result in eviction from the room.
Although I am no old fuddy duddy I applaud it personally as it gives those of us who come on holiday to relax (not party) a chance to stay somewhere quiet and relaxing.
