you need to make sure you dont leave money around.. or show that you carry a lot... cause that will cost you more...
ID is kept generally by the security guard at the front of your hotel and collected when they leave... take your own protection from home and USE it.....
But traveling own your own you may just find you find a nice person and they just wont to be with you. for all the same reasons as back home...
