I visited friends staying at Villa Lumbung last year. They were very pleased with it. They were paying $A100 per night. The taxi drivers all know it. It has a lovely pool. There were Australian and German tourists staying when I visited. There were no yobbos there.
Ordering drinks around the pool is expensive - Rp 110,000 for three small bintangs. It is not on the beach and you will need to take taxis/bemos to Kuta/Legian for shopping.
