He won't be allowed into Bali.
He must have 6 months left on passport after he has been on holiday in Bali.
Don't delay or chance it as you will be very sorry.
You can get an urgent passport if you go to the office in your state and pay the extra to have it within a few days.
New photo required and application form and take old passport with you.
