If you've never been to either one, Safari Park is the better of the two with more photo opportunities.

We went to the zoo this trip as we'd never been before. It wasn't bad, but still slightly depressing as not all animals are in good enclosures yet and some cages are kind of small and dark. They do apparently have opportunities with some animals at the restaurant at about 1pm but we didn't stay around, so I couldn't tell you which animals it was.

Safari Park has much more to see and will be more of a day trip out. You get one animal encounter, with taking your own photos included in your basic entry ticket, but it only costs Rp30K to buy extras if you want them. They had baby orangutan, lion cub and tiger cub on our visit last year. They also have elephant feeding sessions at set times, where you buy the food and can take your own photos feeding them.

The zoo was a much quicker visit really. We were there a bit before 10am and ready to leave by midday, so we stopped for lunch in the restaurant before we left - but were gone before they brought any animals in for the petting session.
