we stayed in Legian last year twice, and took our Mclaren stroller both times for our 3yo. It was fine along the path most of the time & when it wasn't we walked on the roadside without a problem. In my opinion no matter what type of pram or stroller you take you probably won't walk as much or for as long as you do without little children/babies. We often walked one-way to a destination & then caught a taxi back with the stroller folded up in the boot or back seat. The heat & humidity can get too much for the little ones so you just want to get back quickly when they've had enough. I would definitely take your stroller & if you find you need a 3 wheeler then hire one there. Enjoy your trip :o)
