you can test them on 2 tv/dvd players setup for buyer use. They have a front section open air with all the latest dvd's and cd's and then an enclosed air con section with all dvd's in alphabetical order plus tv series section, also games, ps 2 etc..don't look at those myself. They will tell you if you ask if the copies are 80%/90% or just new in and not good yet.
They also sell a few toys, sandals and badges, they used to sell Laugh t-Shirts but these have gone now.
I believe if you go back to your hotel room and some don't work they will replace as do other dvd shops as long as you have kept your receipt.
Funny story on our last trip the Robin Hood movie was out and we must have seen 10-20 people returning the movie, the movie started well, good copy but didn't have a finish, just stopped near the end! This was in other shops as well as this one.
