and we had a couple of nice meals and breakfasts from Patrick's Warung, just near the area you mention, and we really enjoyed them. Also we had many wonderful latte's from the Mugshot Cafe, which is also not far from the area you mention.
My kids loved the place La Monde, that is in this area aswel, just around the bend a bit more, as they put paper table clothes on at night, and give the kids crayons to draw on it. kept them entertained for ages while we enjoyed our meal. the food was nice also.
