My first go at a JBR, but its just a payback for all the info that I got from the forum before traveling this time.
It was just me and B/F with Mr 18 month old hypo.

We left Perth on the early AA flight, armed with a bag full of huggies and the portable DVD player with Thomas the tank Engine discs to last the journey.
Master Hypo was very good considering everything, especially the early flight times and everything.
Arrivals at around 8.15am was good, and out through the airport in about 35 minutes.
We had arranged with Bali Baby Care in Perth to pre pay for pick up and transfer to the Sorga on Legian Street.
We noticed them in the travel section of the Sunday paper and liked the idea of paying before we left so we didn't have to worry about transfer payments or cash on arrival and all that.
The vehicle was fitted with a newish car safety seat, and there was a good quality Steelcraft stroller already in the back.
The Sorga is a 2 star sort of place but suited our purpose well enough as it was just a place to put our heads down, and somewhere for an afternoon swim.
The breakfast is basic, and fairly local overtones, but omelette was OK and at least got us started for the day.
The first couple of days was spent getting the shopping bug fixes at Discovery and at Carefour with a trip into Denpasar to Ramayana in between.
For any trips where a taxi would have normally been needed, we used BBC transport with the seat and found that the cost for transport with a safety seat was much the same as without.
After the first couple of nights where we used a wooden cot that was provided we decided to get a porta cot from the hire shop as well as we felt that there were some dangers with the one provided.
We were also very concerned about mosquitoes, and liked the fact that the pram and cot had full mosquito netting covers.
This was delivered free although we missed the guy and had to stop off at their shop to pay so all was well.
We had arranged a trip for a couple of days to Amed as neither of us had been to the east coast before.
We used the same BBC transport on a day rate to get there and took the cot and pram.
We stayed at Puri Wirata, and it was a wonderful peaceful couple of days and fascinating to see the fishing boats with colourful sails returning with their catch in the early morning.
The pool was warm and there was a shallow part for Mr hypo to splash to his hearts content.
While there we visited Sails restaurant (recommended on BTF) and it certainly lived up to our expectations.
Most other meals we ate at Puri Wirata.
At the end of our stay BBC came back and took us back to Legian, which was about a 5 hour trip.
The week went by all to quickly and although I found it tiring with a hypo little one wanting to push and pull everything, I found the Balinese people wonderful with him and had no problems with volunteers to play with him or entertain him any time.
We hung onto the pram until drop off at the airport, where we had long waits in queues especially waiting to check in and then to get through immigration.
Now it's back to reality and cooking and cleaning again and saving for the next adventure in November next year.
Thanks for reading and please excuse any spelling or grammar mistakes.
