There are many newer type small vans running around Bali the have 7 seats in them plus the drivers seat and we found them to be quite good and nifty .
Average asking price was Rp.50,000 per hour and we were able to negotiate them for to Rp.40,000 because we used the same one on a regular basis.
She was very happy as the work was ongoing and she was telling us of how many days she would sit around without any work at all.
This worked out to be around $5 Aud per hour penny pinching or not I dont know but on some occasions when we used a taxi cost of travel were cheaper so we thought the price for her was OK.
