are you there to relax, have a beer and watch the world passby, or are you building a house and looking to customise it with Indonesian materials.
We all know about the usual copy stuff, bags shoes, DVDs etc.
However, there is great value in tiles, cladding materials, stainless steel fabrication, sectionalised large carved wall murals, ornate doors, plumbing gear, curtains, blinds etc etc.
Not the sort of stuff to take back hand luggage, but nevertheless significant savings can be made in addition to the unique nature of the finished project.
For my alcoholic friends who are fixated on the B word, you can always get a beer between sourcing the stuff you are looking for.
