as it is a viral infection. Paracetamol and copious fluids was the only instruction given after our GP rang the Tropical Centre at our large local hospital.
My husband's symptoms were classic except that he didn't describe that his headache was behind the eyes (as in Dengue symptoms) His headache was a stinker despite how many Panadol he took. I had to monitor his intake so he didn't exceed the recommended dose. I didn't want him karking it with liver failure.
