We were there in May 2009 and I got multifocal lenses made in both sunglasses and ordinary glasses in a frame that I had bought from home.

The sunglasses (frame included) cost a little over $100.00 AU and the glasses in my frames were around $80.00. I hade been quoted $560.00 in Adelaide so this was quite a savings.

I hope that this remains the same as I am intending to get more when we are there in September.

We met an expat on the plane on the way over ans hse told us to go to "Optik Nusa JL> Diponegoro NO. 103 Denpasar" This was a $7.00 taxi ride from Sanur but well worth it.

WE arrived on a Friday and the glasses were ready on teh following Wednesday. They told me that they could do transition lenses as well but it took longer. I am not keen on them anyway so just got the straight sunnies.
