Laptops and repairs in Bali

I have an Asus laptop and some of the wires connecting the screen seem to have fried. Does anyone know where I can get it repaired in Bali?
Or where I can buy a new laptop for under $500?
I went to carrefour but they didn't sell them with windows for under $500.
My asus laptop is only a yr and a half old and bought it in Australia but I won't be back there until November.
