you will be surprised at how many plates of food are left standing on the pickup "shelf' and for how long. Hopefully the cats don't get to them but that food is then put into the breakfast bain maries and kept for long periods of time at a very dodgy temperature. Between the cat-licked plates and food hygiene I would think BB is inevitable.
