eastern states can fly between each other and you have cheaper prices for almost ALL international travel bar bali - coz you have to fly through sydney or melbourne to get anywhere.
cheap bali flights is the only travel thing perth can claim, everywhere else costs a bloody fortune - down south, up north etc.
just for interests sake - my family and i (4 of us) went to bali in jan, stayed at the pelangi hotel for a week, all up cost us less than heading down south at same time.
