don't get the point or have any idea! I was expecting some negative posts but as I said I have damn thick skin but I really have trouble relating to people who are antagonistic.I am only trying to do an totally honest report - which if you think about it,isn't that what BTF is supposed to be about ? IF we don't report the full story what's the point of being here or reading any posts?
As I have already very clearly stated the girls had a 100% positive & confirmed definate booking until 6pm tonight for the room that they have been staying in for over a week. This was confirmed in writing by the manager.There is really nothing else to question as far as myself or the girls are concerned - they were screwed around & bullied by KTH staff today & that's it ! I sure know that they wouldn't have got it away with trying it on with 90% of the people here because we would have told them to go to hell - I know I sure would have ! They simply & purely got taken advantage of because of their age & inexperience.
Granted the staff were kind re the stolen purse & as well as the girls expressing their appreciation I also sent a personal message of thanks to the manager & made specific mention to the wonderful security guard.BUT they completely lost all those brownie points with 2 rude & abrupt staff who bullied the girls today on 2 separate occasions.There is definately no excuse for their behaviour or attiude to the girls. There really is not a lot else to to discuss - this is my main point - they screwed up big time !
I can only gather you are not a parent who has a child or grandchild who has only just started travelling OS for their 1st time on their own.Granted our daughter is an adult & she has grown into a young woman I am proud to say is my daughter.We are very close & spent a lot of time together,even more so just before she went to Bali where we have many friends & which my husband & I know & love so much.She relied on us & our friends on BTF & local friends for guidance.I am proud to say -once a Mum,always a Mum.My darling 88 year old Mum still think I am her little girl in some ways & is still protective of me.Very few parents aren't protective of their kids - no matter what age they are.
My own experience in the s- house villa at Canggu -as a person who has been travelling the world for over 30 years is totally irrelevant & has absolutely zilch to do with the KTH going back on a confirmed booking for late check out till 6pm.I am astounded that you mentioned this or thought it had any relevance or bearing to this conversation.The sheer mention of it at this stage - well over 2 months down the track has me laughing !
