So sorry to hear of your disappointments.
I can relate to the inferior private apartments at Jayakarta... Although I stayed in other privately owned apartments at the Jayakarta several years ago, they too were soiled & with numerous maintenance issues. It was enough to affect our holiday.
There are plenty of fans of the apartments on this forum, but certainly not my cup of tea. Thanks for sharing your experience.
