we were walking home after dinner around 9pm in Jalan Padma Utara
behind the Padma hotel where the lighting is very little and sometimes none at all.
I was walking in front and Hubby behind when he grabbed me and held me back from the road .
It was 2 guy's on a motor bike heading straight for me!!!
I carry a small purse that hangs over my head with a long strap that sits on my hip,it shook me up as I have always felt safe in Bali and over many years probably became a bit laps.
Hubby had seen these 2 guys earlier sitting watching people near Lojo's they must have noticed my purse and thought easy picking .
Thank God for my hubby, as I have heard from Balinese friends they saw a woman being draged along the road when a motor bike grabbed her bag.
So I was very lucky and now I am very careful with my money and always put it on the side away from the road and also always take Hubby lol.
So please be careful and always in the back of your mind be very aware of your surroundings and enjoy your time in Bali.
