In 1992 before my first trip to Bali a friend gave me a small book, NOT a guide book,but a local tale about the coming of tourisrm, told from the local point of view. I loved it, and now want to give it to a friend who is mourning the loss of her 20 year old daughter and traveling to Bali for comfort.
I no longer have the book nor can I remember its name! Does it ring a bell with anyone?
