I have sent many parcels back to Australia using sea mail using the Postal Agency in Jalan Benesari in Kuta. The cost of postage includes the packaging.
The employee puts your things on a cardboard box, then wraps the box with a strong synthetic cloth. He then stiches the parcel and writes in large block letters on the parcel the address.
Later, the boxes are packed into the back of a pick up truck - about a metre high and taken to the Indonesian Post Office despatch point.
My parcels take from six to twelve weeks to arrive at my home address in Australia.
