If you are looking for cheap accommodation, the exchange rate is going to affect you day by day. I stayed at the BaliSenia, a basic Hotel. The rooms are clean and I paid Aus $16 per night in March 2010. I was booked into this hotel by a mate (he has since died, I returned to Bali 2 weeks after my first visit for his funeral April 2010).
