Many people on the forum recommend an establishment called Sharkeys's. I liked the Matahari Restaurant which has a nice cultural dance performance after dark. The sun sets at about 6 to 6.30 pm all year because of the proximity to the equator. There shouldn't be any problem in getting a table and they are usually situated some distance apart from each other because it is quite a wide and long beach. I did't find the seafood restaurants at Jimbaran pricey against other comparable restaurants in Bali, or elsewhere for that matter. You first go up near the kitchen and select your seafood which is weighed, cooked and brought to your table with side dishes. You order the drinks at your table. The food component of your bill is based on the weight and price per kilo of that item.
