I would also recommend you get your eyes tested and your prescription in Australia before you go to Bali. Usually the test is free and you just need to buy one box of lenses from the optician. Take your lens box to Bali and then buy the lenses there. Even to get the cosmetic lenses you will need to get your eyes measured for correct fit etc, so you might as well get the proper prescription ones. I prefer to wear daily disposable lenses in Bali as they are more comfortable and less hassle and they are a lot cheaper in Bali than they are in Australia.
My prescription is a 'minus' (I am shortsighted) and I have no problem getting the lenses in Bali. I believe that it is the toric lenses for astigmatism that you can't get over there (or that was the case a few years ago - not asked recently).
