Are you sure it was $65US ? The girls are going horse riding with Bali Island horse in the next day or so.The current price on the website is $56US for the 2 hour ride including transport & the 1 hour sunset ride is $35 excluding transport.
We sent an email to the company before the girls left for Bali & recieved a prompt reply from Natalie. She came back with the price of $50 per person including transport for the 2 hour ride & $30 for the 1 hour Sunset ride excluding transport but offered transport for $20US.
After arriving in Bali my daughter phoned the company to check the local price & it was no better than what she had been offered via email. She has a print out of the email with her so mentioned receiving the email from Natalie & the 2 of them are now booked in on the Sunset ride for $30.
On the costimgs of the transport side of it-
We know from 2 months ago that a driver or taxi costs 60,000 for a 1 way trip either into or out of Legian to/from Pererenan Beach which is a fair way North of Canggu but South of Tanah Lot.Bali Island Horse is at Yeh Gangga fairly close to Tanah Lot so I expect it would be more than 120,000 Rupiah/$13US return trip from Kuta.I think that the offer of $20 transport from them doesn't seem too bad.
I suggest you maybe send an email to the company c/o Natalie & ask for a better price like we did & mention what prices she offered my daughter & her friend when we emailed her.The price you get may depend if it's for more than 2 people.
