I regularly buy my daughter prescription contacts in Bali. She just tells me her prescription from optometrist here. I would imagine that once your eyes have been tested and they know the strength you need, as long as they have them in stock you should be able to get them right away. My daughter likes the coloured contacts and I think last time I paid around $70 for 4 sets. I usually go to an optometrist across from Matahari in Kuta. I have found that if you ask for discount that you can often buy 1 set and get another half price as long as they can keep the box ends (I think they claim back from supplier???) Although I haven't even looked for cosmetic contacts I would think they would be available in any opticians...... Or with the prescription ones so cheap why not just get a set of them and see how they go. Have a great trip :)
