You can buy pretty much anything you may need at Bintang supermarket or Matahari. It may not be the same but its fun trying the different brands out. Kids won't die if they only eat hot chips and milkshakes for a week and most kids like Nasi or Mee Goreng as a change from the junk. Take any floatation devices you normally use at the pool. The only important thing is don't drink the water in the pool, bath or from the tap and wash hands before eating after shopping, touching cats etc. Garuda are pretty generous with the luggage but you'll probably end up wearing the same things over and over.

I was a nervous wreck taking my 18 month old and by day two I was in heaven.

PS Take advantage of the babysitting. The lady we had had my daughter fed, bathed and tucked up asleep in bed at 8.00pm when I had never been able to do it.
