also take a remedy in case your little one does get bitten. We used repellant on my then 2yo daughter last year but she still got 1 or 2 bites - which then became huge, red, itchy lumps. A visit to the Apotik & AU$30 later, we were the proud owners of a homeopathic ointment to relieve the itching. Take some from home, I'm sure it'd be much cheaper :o)
Sunscreen & kids toothpaste are also things I bring from home (sunscreen due to cost & toothpaste because I found it difficult to find one that wasn't orange or strawberry flavoured!)
Things to stock up on while there - nappies (Mami Poko brand are the best I've found)& kids toothbrushes (WAY cheaper so stock up)
Not sure if you have booked your accommodation yet but after staying in Sanur for the 1st time at Xmas, we found it a much better place to stay than Kuta/Legian/Seminyak when you have children in strollers. The footpaths are far better & there is a fantastic beachside path. A lightweight umbrella stroller is the only thing I'd bother taking from home - if you like walks along the beach etc, you can hire 3 wheelers over there.
