We bought a stroller at Carefour (sp?) on our first day that was a lightweight frame and then left it with a familiar stall holder with a small child when we left, this was because we had taken a baby backpack with us that ended up way too hot for anyone to wear!
Spray on sunscreen and insect repellant were our best friends - morning, noon and night for the repellant meant that no-one was ever bitten.
Swim nappies - bought them with us from home and must admit to not really seeing many (if any) there
Took our own "travel pack" of medications etc so that no reliance on finding it in the streets - we also took Miltons tablets as youngest was a dummy user and I liked it sterile over night.
Wipes - we took ours from home as found all the ones for sale were very highly perfumed.
We flew Garuda last time when Eloise was still under 2 and she had 10kg of checked luggage and a backpack as carry on - so glad that she has her own seat and bigger allowance this time!
Have a great time - my kids loved going last year (aged 4 and 20 months) and can't wait to go back in a few months time
