Well the bags are packed and after three attempts to not be over the weight limit, I finally got most of the supplies for the schools and orphanges that I wanted to take....nearly.
I stayed in Bali for two months last year and stayed a an orphange to volunteer, but this trip is just my hubby and me.
We usually travel with family and friends, so it will be nice to dance to the beat of our own drum . ( NO KIDS !!!!!)
I am a bit nervous, I have been to Bali five times, but have recently had a knee operation, so I am hobbling a bit, mainly after sitting for awhile.
Thanks to the advice on the forum, we have arranged a wheelchair to assist, so if you see a fat old woman hobbling along on a stick or zipping past in a wheelchair , or doing all the stretches on the plane, give me a wave :)
We are staying at Kuta Lagoon Resort for the first two days then down to Bali Gardens for the next ten days.
The only thing we have booked is High Tea at Biku on Tuesday to meet up with my husbands brother and his wife.
I will do a report when we get back.
Thanks for all the advice, I cant imagine travelling without it !!
