We were told by the manager of Kumala Pantai when it had its 'soft opening' that it was rated 3 stars and Jayakarta 4. This was based on the number of rooms in the hotel, number of pools, tennis courts etc. At that time KP had around 90 rooms I think and one pool whereas Jayakarta has hundreds of rooms and 3 pools
