The general consensus is that the southern shacks closest to the posh hotels (Four Seasons,Intercontinental,Ritz Carlton etc.) should be avoided as they're overly expensive and pay commissions to drivers.
The northern shacks are supposed to be better and cheaper.
I've heard the place Sharkies mentioned quite a few times here on the forum as being good, but I personally can't confirm whether it's any good or not.
They have a website (but no prices) so not much help really.
I'd be interested to know if there's a Jimbaran Seafood restaurant website with all the shacks/restaurants listed and links to individual places.
