We did this AA flight 2 weeks ago and left home about 2am got to airport by 3. Did online check-in and pre-printed own boarding pass. There is a seperate line to L) for bag drop off which only had 1 other couple in line. Still took about 15 mins to book in and they gave us another of their own boarding pass despite showing we had one already so dont know why anyone would bother wasting their ink?? After that we had a lovely early breaky upstairs (eggs on a muffin and hash browns as we didnt book any food onboard )and headed thru and didnt even get much time to browse in duty free and then it was boarding. Boarded quite early. Surprisinly we were not tired all the next day, we all just seemed to have holiday exitment/adrenalin and put in a full day with no nap... but were in bed by 8pm that night !! Party animals we were not !!
