most of them but generally I am a bit more limited as travelling with children.
Hotel Tjuamphuan - stayed here several times, has changed over the 20 years ive been coming but still some original staff and always the same lovely ambience and attention to detail. 5 min walk from town centre. Lots of stairs as built on the side of a ravine. I do love this place.
Hotel ananda - further away, approx 10 min walk, small pool but a range of accomodation. My daughter loved it here we had a lovely family room, open thatch with mozzie nets - very balinese. Near to some interesting shops and spas even though long walk to town.
Ubud Village - right in the centre of monkey forrest road, central location great but lacks the same views etc as the ones above. Still great hotel, enjoyed our stay but last 2 times I have walked past they have had rennovations on so I would make sure they have finished before booking here.
Hotel D'Omah - newly advertised hotel approx 8 min from ubud town. Not sure of its history but I think it may have recently been reopened after being run down. For the price and the efforts of the staff I feel like you get budget price for what would have been a first class establishment when new, they are still fixing things as they go. We had private jasmin villa, we loved it and felt quite spoilt as we had our own pool and private gazebo area for breakfast. shower nozzles etc were a bit interesting (sprayed everywhere) but maybe they have fixed them now too.
hope you enjoy your trip
