Hi all, I'm hoping to go back to Bali at end of Jan.'11 on my own - sort of a 50th birthday treat to myself. We have been as a family a few times, but I thought it might be nice to go alone. I'm looking at somewhere central to everything, but smaller than usual hotels. Both Poppies and Adi Dhama look good. Any opinions? I am trying to find somewhere that isn't over-run with lots of kids - been there, done that! just want to relax, etc. but I do like to be within walking distance of restaurants, shops, etc. Any other suggestions regarding a suitable cottage/hotel for a solo traveller, very welcome. Thanks.
