I Have just booked my insurance through travel insurance direct. I enquired if they covered you on a motorcycles and there responded that as long as ou have a relevent licence in the country that you are in you are covered. Below is their reply for coverage. Also if you enter in TIDTHANKS in the promotional code when booking you get an additional $10.00 off.
We will not pay for you or a member of the Travelling Party who rides a motor cycle (except as a pillion passenger) without a license that is valid in the relevant country.
We will not pay for a liability arising out of your ownership, possession or use (including as a passenger) of a mechanically propelled vehicle.
