We take mainly travellers cheques, mainly because they are safer than money because if your money is stolen you can only claim usually around $500 from insurance and the rest you just lose out on.ATM's you usually get charged a couple of different charges wich can be quite high depending on the amount you withdraw.TC's,you don't get charged any fees at all the exchange rate is just about the same as cash and are replaced within 24 hours if lost or stolen.
Although we still take a little amount of cash with us and our card if we overspend,which I'm sure will happen if I have anything to do with it LOL.
