What does that have to do with my comments? FYI, I live in Canada so not sure what Australia has to do with it. Vietnam is about 2 hours closer to us in Canada so that did not factor into our final decision on where to go.
The one thing these 2 countries share is that they host visitors seeking to explore new lands. I am comparing their cultures, food and customs based on my experiences. Since they are both SE Asian countries, there are alot more similiarities to these places than say Australia and Vietnam. When people are choosing their 'holiday' destinations, some of these factors might help them to make their decision as to where to travel. FYI, when I go to Bali I tend to explore the whole island so for me both places tend to be on the more adventurous side. My original posting was to say that Bali is my preference - IMHO.
