(not having a dig at Clovis at all but we have stayed at both in the last 18mths).
We stayed at the Patra in a deluxe suite. Very lge room with doors that shut off the main bedroom so you could put one to sleep in there and still use the other room. Sml dining table as well, 2 tv's and sofa bed/lounge. We were booked for 3 kids but the teenager didn't come. Would have struggled to fit him in but with three small children you would be fine. Lge resort, great pools, extremely friendly staff. Don't mind the location. Either walk down the beach path or catch a cab. Only ~ 5k down to Discovery. Has a large kids club but no scheduled activities and only a handful of kids in there whenever we went.
Loved BGH, no kids club, but the pool and grounds were amazing. Location very central. Would love to stay there again but they've priced themselves out of our range since we stayed there.
Keeping a look out myself for a nice hotel with a kids club for when I go with the 2 boys myself next year. Much as I said I'd never stay at the Dynasty again it's looking like the best option.
