it has been quieter on Gili T in June the last few years, but last year it was very busy. There are now many fast boat operations running between Bali & the Gilis and tourist numbers are back to pre-Balibomb levels.
In June through Sept 2009 it was difficult to find a room just turning up. You may be ok just turning up in June, but you also might not get what you want and have to pay too much for not that nice, or worse, sleep on the beach.
GaryD I think went there 2 years ago when things were still quiet. That price would be hard to find that time of year now. Room rate typically double in the 'season'.
