You will be asked at the check in counter when you depart for Bali to show your e-ticket for your flight out of Bali. Imigrasi in Bali rarely bothers to ask.
The reason that the people at the check in counter ask to see the e-ticket for your flight out of Bali, is that they are responsible to fly you out of Bali if Imigrasi refuse you permission to enter Bali.
